CFC Foundation for Family and Life doing well
MANILA, February 19, 2008—The Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life has made its presence felt in various archdioceses and dioceses across the country after its widely-publicized split with the mainstream CFC now led by Bro. Jose Tale.
Bro. Frank and Sister Geri Padilla said their chapters have continuously served in the Dioceses of Antipolo, San Pablo, Tarlac, Isabela, Marbel, Archdioceses of Manila and Lipa and the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa in Palawan province.
He described the Church-based group as “vibrant and joyful” in the pursuit of mission to promote good family life and evangelization.
“We opted to split when we noticed the group’s accommodation and too much thrust on social dimension rather than its original purpose of promoting family life based on Catholic teachings,” Bro. Frank Padilla added.
Today, there is a growing number international groups affiliated and associated with the CFC Foundation for Family and Life led by the Padilla couple. (Melo M. Acuña)
